2021 Broderson Manufacturing Carry Deck Cranes IC-280
With its compact profile - ideal for facility maintenance, re-fits, upgrades and expansion projects - the Broderson IC-280 Industrial Carry-Deck crane is the smallest crane in its 20-ton class, but with the longest boom and strongest overall load chart. The IC-280 comes factory-equipped with telematics to seamlessly integrate into today's modern fleet operations. And only Broderson has the exclusive 3-position outrigger system: in-and-down, mid-and-down, or out-and-down, to fine-tune the machine’s lifting capacity within tight quarters. Broderson Manufacturing Corporation cranes are known for reliability, durability, and ease of operation, and the IC-280 is another example of how a quality crane will keep you productive every step of the way.
Features may include:4-Section, 63' 10" (19.5m) Long, Full-Power, Proportional Extending Telescopic Boom with continuous 360 degree swing rotation turret. Rotation is powered by hydraulic motor and worm gear drive.
Four Hydraulic, 3-Position Independently Controlled Outriggers can be set in-and-down, mid-and-down, and out-and-down. Outrigger pad dimension: 11” (30 cm) diameter.
Two-Speed Hoist with maximum line speed of 186 fpm (57m/min) and maximum bare drum line pull of 12,500 lbs (5,670 kg).
Telematics Hardware provides cellular data transmission with 15-minute data update interval. GPS, engine data & faults, & run time. Email alerts, web and mobile access.
Hydraulic Power is provided by a direct driven tandem pump delivering 61 gpm (231L/min) at rated RPM.
Rated Capacity Limiter warns the operator of impending overload with audible and visual signals, and stops boom functions in the event of overloads.
Multiple Steering Configurations including 4-Wheel Steer, where the front and rear wheels steer in opposite directions, permits a very tight turning radius for quick positioning in constrained spaces. Operator can quickly switch between rear-wheel steering, 4-wheel, or crab steering, aided by electronic sensors and a control box that automatically aligns the steering after a new mode is selected. Rear wheels steer in two-wheel drive mode.
EPA Tier 4 Final Diesel and LPG Engines available.
Powershift Transmission with 4 speeds forward and reverse, minimizes bumps and jolts during shifting that is possible at any engine speed in any gear.
Heavy Duty Chassis Frame provides a front deck carrying capacity of 14,800 lbs (6,713 kg).
Easy Access to engine compartment and hydraulic equipment components simplifies maintenance and repair.
Low Profile Design ideal for tight work spaces and simplifies transportation by flatbed truck.
